Tigris XL is a so-called Land Use Transport Interaction (LUTI) model for the Netherlands. A first version of the model was developed around 2005, commissioned by the Ministry of Transport and Water, to provide insight into the spatial effects of options for new infrastructure and the accessibility effects of urban strategies.
