Jan Gerrit Tuinenga

Jan Gerrit Tuinenga is senior researcher at Significance. He has a background in Operations Research / Econometrics. His main area of interest at Significance lies in the design, development and implementation of transportation model systems, which are used in analysing and forecasting multi-modal transportation demand. Jan Gerrit has been involved in the specification, implementation, documentation, application and validation of a range of transport model systems such as the ANTONIN model for the Paris region and the Dutch National Transport model (GM/LMS). He has substantial experience in developing applications using languages as Delphi Pascal, VB.NET, Python and C# and more dedicated (transport planning, model estimation and other) software.
