Sebastiaan Thoen (EN) – Significance

Sebastiaan Thoen is Researcher II at Significance. After a BSc Technische Bestuurskunde (Technology, Policy and Management) at the TU Delft, he finished his MSc Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics (TIL) in 2018. He is most active in developing freight transportation models, some examples include the freight models of Flanders and Amsterdam and an innovation project (HARMONY) for the European Commission. Sebastiaan also does a lot of stated preference research, amongst others to obtain the valuation of travel time and to estimate discrete choice models for time-of-day choice. In addition, he is an experienced Python programmer.
