Bart Wesseling

Bart Wesseling obtained his master degree in Civil Engineering at Delft University of Technology. He finished the master track Transport and Planning by writing a graduation thesis on forecasting travel time variability. Thereafter, he continued his work at Delft University by studying and modelling the robustness of infrastructure networks. In 2015 Bart joined Significance. At Significance he largely contributed to the further development of the national strategic freight model BasGoed. Besides his work on de development of strategic transport models, Bart has a particular interest in using strategic transport models in policy-analyses. Herein, he combines his in-depth knowledge on transport models with his sharp eye for detail to critically evaluate and explain model results.
